We announce the death of Clarence Eddie Talley of Summertown, Tennessee, who passed away on September 11, 2026, at the age of 86. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Emory Talley and Augusta Murphy Talley; and his wife Lura Faye Talley. He is survived by: his daughters, Jana Long (Brian) of Lawrenceburg and Holly Winters (David) of Summertown, Tennessee; his sister Freddie Ann Modrall of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Beth Jean (Jeremy), Wes Long (Lauren), Briar Pierce (Raci) and Lindsay Maxwell (Chris); his great grandchildren, Cooper Jean, Hallie Jean, Hudson Long, Barrett Pierce, Turner Pierce, Taylor Maxwell and Landon Maxwell; and his caregivers, Pat Martin, Pat Howorko, Pam Miles and Kim Rowden.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Summertown Church of Christ (305 Church St, Summertown, TN 38483). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Summertown Cemetery (1466 Co Hwy 361, Summertown, TN 38483).
