He was predeceased by : his parents, Carroll Tipton Nix and Edith Spears Nix. He is survived by : his sons, Victor Nix, Roger Nix (Mandy) and Shannon Nix (Darlene). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Williams Funeral Home & Crematory - Mt Pleasant (819 N Main St, Mt Pleasant, TN 38474). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM at the Summertown Cemetery (1466 Co Hwy 361, Summertown, TN 38483).
