We are sad to announce that on May 24, 2022, at the age of 88, Lawrence Ely Hite of Summertown, Tennessee, born in Huntington, West Virginia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lawrence Ely Hite to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Mary Whittaker Hite and Francis Ely Hite; his wife Robin Theobald of Grayson, KY; and his son Ely Whittaker Hite. He is survived by : his daughters, Gretchen Kaufmann (David) of Summertown, Strother Jett (Lee) of Charlotte and Sarah Whitt (Charlie) of Scottown; and his grandsons, Stephen Hite Whitt, John Kemper Jett, Thomas Bradford Hite and Philip Jarrett Childers.

Memorials may be directed to Cammack Children's Center, Huntington, WV.
