She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Jim" Lanier and Annie "Ann" Brown Lanier; and her siblings, Charles Lanier, Ricky Lanier and Joyce Long.
She is survived by: her husband William Larry Bennett, Sr. of Summertown, TN; her sons, Jimmy Wayne Johnson (Lanesia) of Summertown, TN and William Larry Bennett, Jr. (Shannon) of Summertown, TN; her siblings, Betty Jennings (Terry) of Summertown, TN, Jerry Lanier of Summertown, TN and Gary Lanier of Summertown, TN; and her grandchildren, Lexi Johnson, Cameron Johnson, Jackson Bennett and Callie Bennett.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Neal Funeral Home (231 N Military Ave, Lawrenceburg, TN 38464). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggests memorials be made to Maury Regional Health Care Foundation Women's Center Fund.
