He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Mills Sr. and Edna Sowell Mills; and his siblings, Eddie Mills Jr., Howard Mills and Myrtle Hawkins.
He is survived by: his wife Pam Ferguson Mills; his daughter Melissa Wood Sr. (Chris); his brother James Mills (Louise); his grandchildren, Kaydee Wood, Corey Wood (Keanndra) and Chris Wood Jr. (Rebecca); and his great grandchildren, CJ Wood, Rielyn Wood and William Wood. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
