He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Frizzell Jacobs and Ida Jeretha Roberts Jacobs; his grandmother B. Norton Jacobs; his grandson Jacob Duane Teal; and his siblings, John Jacobs, James Jacobs, Ross Jacobs, Marth Jo Brown, Bobbie Grissom and Reba Lafevers.
He is survived by: his children, John William Jacobs (Patricia) and Kelly Lynne Jacobs Teal (Gary); his sister Wilma McAfee; his grandchildren, Jamie Teal, John Phillip Teal, Sarah Teal Wells (Josh) and Patrick John Ross Jacobs; his great grandchildren, Addison Teal, Micah and Sydney Wells; his close friend Randy Haley (Sheila); Sierra Haley and Frank Haley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or the Sportsman and Businessman Charitable Organization.
