She was predeceased by: her father Rev. James Alexander; and her brother John "Buddy" Alexander. She is survived by: her mother Kate Alexander; her children, Amanda Morrow, John Alexander and James Cansler; her brother David Alexander (Tammie); and her grandchildren, Jett Ingram and Ivy Cansler.
In lieu of flowers, Barbara requested that memorials be made to Midway High School Baseball or Golf teams.
