It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Glenda Sue Barnes (Sweetwater, Tennessee), who passed away on January 22, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dovie Todd and Lester Todd; her daughter Teresa Fletcher; her siblings, John Todd, Hobert Todd, Steve Todd, Peggy McCullough, Wilma Cofer and Donna Cunningham; and her grandson James Fletcher.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Barnes; her daughters, Karen Ramsey (Lee), Lesa Crump (Billy), Barbara Rowe, Vivian Holzer and Kathy Goad; and her brother Gary Todd. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or to Salem Baptist Church at 1212 Salem Valley Road Ten Mile, TN 3788 in memory of Glenda.
