He is survived by: his wife Janie Roy Thomas of Sweetwater; his daughter Missy; his son-in-law Jack Wilson of Niota; his grandchildren, Ryan (Rita) and Tyler Wilson; his great grandchild Declan Wilson; his brother Gary; his siblings-in-law, Geraldine Thomas of Sweetwater, Terry Roy of Sweetwater, Sandra, Steve Oaks of Cleveland, TN., Melinda and Kelly Tyre of North Carolina; and his nieces and nephews, Kris Smith, Dale Smith, Daniel Smith, Stphen Oaks, Nathan Oaks, Tyler Roy, Kristy Tyre, Stephanie Miller and Brandy Roy.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Sweetwater Memorial Park (1838 US-11, Sweetwater, TN 37874).
