He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Shephard and Irene Hastings Shephard; and his siblings, Jane Jones, Gail Yelton, Betty Bell and Bobby Shephard.
He is survived by: his caregiver Geneva Underwood; his daughters, Debbie Krodinger (Carl) and Lisa Tresch (Lance); his granddaughters, Adrienne and Lacey; his great grandchild Syndey; his sisters, Ellen Hudson and Phyllis Shephard; his children, Rita Summitt (Danny) and Daryl Underwood (Candace); and his granddaughters, Miranda, Marissa and Olivia. He is also survived by Several nieces & nephews.
