She was predeceased by: her parents, Rex Rhodes and Mary Rhodes; her husband W. E. Sloan; her grandson Tyler Plemons; her brothers, Charles Wesley Rhodes, Rex "Dusty" Rhodes and Larry "Rabbit" Rhodes; and her cousin Evelyn McConkey.
She is survived by: her daughter Daphne; her son-in-law Steve Hamm; her granddaughter Amber (Eric Thompson); her great grandchildren, Hadlee of Sweetwater, Granger of Sweetwater and Lauren Thompson of Sweetwater; her sister Tonya; her brother-in-law Ben Walden of Waynesboro, GA.; and her cousin Linda Tapley of Sweetwater. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
