He was predeceased by: his parents, Alyce Richeson and Amos Richeson; and his brother Richard Richeson. He is survived by: his wife Melaine Roy Richeson; his children, Jamey Richeson and Rhinnon Reynolds Colquitt; his siblings, Fred Richeson (Kathy), Frankie Richeson (Carolyn) and Amy Richeson Maynard; and his parents-in-law, James "Buddy" and Deloris Sue Roy.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Christianburg Baptist Church Cemetery (295 Fire Department Rd, Sweetwater, TN 37874).
