With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jo Garrett of Sweetwater, Tennessee, who passed away on April 5, 2024 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jo Garrett to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her husband Boyd Garrett; her grandson Paul Garrett; her son-in-law Jeff Deardorff; and her sister Meredith Walker. She is survived by : her children, Lynne Franks of Sweetwater, Judy Deardorff of Maryville and Bobby; her daughter-in-law Rachel Garrett of Sweetwater; her grandchildren, Eric Franks, Sarah Conrade, Noah Meier, Phoebe Garrett and Priscilla Beason; her sister Jane; her brother-in-law Fred Frazier of Athens; her brother Doyle; and her sister-in-law Sharon Lowe of Sweetwater.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Sweetwater Memorial Park (1838 US-11, Sweetwater, TN 37874).

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Sweetwater at 303 Wright St. Sweetwater, Tn 37874 or the Sweetwater Area Ministry at 601 Sweetwater-Vonore Rd., Sweetwater, TN 37874.
