He is survived by: his wife Sharon Curwick Morrison; his son John Morrison, Jr.; his granddaughter Rosie Morrison; his sister Pamela; his brother-in-law Donald Vermilyea; his brother Eric; his sister-in-law Doreen Morrison; his stepson Paul Coy; his stepgrandchildren, Crystal Knight (Luther), Bret Coy, Zakkery Coy, Amber Lowe and Jennifer Holly Coy; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Destiny Knight, Draco Coy and Payton Lowe. He is also survived by Several nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Biereley-Hale Funeral Home (4650 US-411, Madisonville, TN 37354). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920).
