He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Shaffer; his children, Calvin Shaffer and Freida Mason; and his brother Bill Shaffer. He is survived by: his daughter Ramona Woodby; and his grandson Jason Shaffer. He is also survived by several other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
