We are sad to announce that on May 23, 2026, at the age of 83, Lillian Rucker of Sweetwater, Tennessee, born in Mount Holly, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Danser and Susan Danser; her husband Glen Donald Rucker Sr. (Don); and her siblings, Elaine, Kenny, Claude, Donald, George, David, Tommy and Roger.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Rucker Godfrey (Robert), Glen Donald Rucker Jr. (Donnie) and Jeanette Rucker Brewer (Eddie); her grandchildren, Chrystal, Brandon, Jamin, Brittnie, Todd, Kaitlynn, Andy, Tyler, Justin, Nathan and Cory; her great grandchildren, Mikayla, Robbie, Ben, Charlie, Sofia, Jamin Jr., Olivia, Joshua, James, Hunter, Skylar, Breelyn, Brent Jr., Logan, Brianna, Braxton, William, Luke, Rylee, Wesson, Amethyst, Linken and Stephen; and her siblings, Susann Brosius, Beth Daley (Ed) and Jerry Danser.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fairview Baptist Church (261 Co Rd 439, Athens, TN 37303). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Sweetwater Memorial Park (115 North Point Rd #11, Sweetwater, TN 37874).
