She was predeceased by: her former husband Gib Nix; her husband Randall Clark Wallace; her parents, Willie B. Newman and Annie Newman; and her siblings, Edward Newman, Agnes McKeehan, Virginia Tilley, Minnie Lane, Jewel Graves and Richard Newman.
She is survived by: her sister Eva Strickland of Niota; her children, Roger Nix (Kathy) of Madisonville, KY., Vickie Vance (Daniel) of Sweetwater and Sheila Presley (Patrick) of Sweetwater; her grandchildren, Dana Mills (Mark), Joseph Vance (Shannon), Amber Underwood (Usery), Joshua Presley (Kelsey), Jonathan Nix (Teri) and Jessica Burge (Corey); and her caregiver Beth Waddell. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sweetwater Memorial Park (1838 US-11, Sweetwater, TN 37874).
