“I am deeply saddened about Sam's passing. We spoke on the phone just about every day ...mostly about the NY Mets. He and I were avid fans of the Mets. When Maryann was with us, the six of us enjoyed meeting in Biloxi to go to casinos (Sam and Maryann, me and my wife Peggy, my brother Jim and his wife Peggy). I know Sam missed Maryann and their son Frank so very much and now are together again. Rest in peace dear Sam. Bill & Peggy Madison (brother-in-law & sister-in-law) Fort Worth, Tex”
