He was predeceased by : his parents, Clestel King and Doris King Wilbourn; his son Chris King; his brother Larry King; and his stepfather Joe Wilbourne.

He is survived by : his children, Tina King and Frankie King (Alex); his sisters, Shirley Mears and Sharron Nash; his stepsiblings, Donnie and Jan Wilbourn; and his sister-in-law Linda King. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
