She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Rugel and Mae Smith Rugel; and her brothers, Gary and Dale Rugel. She is survived by: her brother Leonard Rugel (Joan); and her nieces, Laura (Mike) and Karla. She is also survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews, and other family members and friends.
