He was predeceased by: his parents, Lon Shockley and Aurilla Shockley; and his siblings, Edward Shockley, Helen Spoon and Deloris Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Mable Shockley; his sons, Greg Shockley of Knoxville and Barry Shockley of Fort Worth, Texas; and his brothers, Bill Shockley of Knoxville and Frank Shockley of Morristown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
