Peggy Standifer Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on February 18, 2026, at the age of 77, Peggy Standifer of Talbott, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Penny and Margaret FitzGerald (Gardner); her sister Ann (FitzGerald); her brother-in-law Bill Eppes; her parents-in-law, Bob and Aleen Standifer (Massey); her siblings-in-law, Sarah Sue Standifer and Wayne Potter; and her close friend Dot Kuhne (Mike).

She is survived by: her husband Steven R. Standifer; her children, Stacey Cobbett (Joe) and Rob Standifer (Amy Jill); her grandchildren, Brynnan Jennings Cox (Jake), Carsyn Cobbett, Colton Cobbett, Cavan Cobbett, Amelia, Sophia, Rosalie and Scarlett; her sister-in-law Pam Potter (Wayne); her nieces, Holly Peck (Sean), Jenny Baker and Jennie Johnson (Steven); and her nephew Bill Eppes (Jill).

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital, a charity she loved for the amazing life saving care they provided to her sister-in-law, Sarah Sue.
