She was predeceased by : her parents, Rev. Claude Whitaker and Mary Whitaker. She is survived by : her son-in-law Gary L Hickman; her granddaughter Kacey Brooke Hickman (Bob Cheatham); her sisters, Fannie Green (John), Jean Gulley (Cletis) and Norma Sue Whitaker; her children, Rick Brooks (Karen) and Leisha Hickman; her grandchildren, Chad Hickman (Salma), Zachary Brooks (Kelly), Haley Labelle (Matthew), Tanner Brooks and Jackson Roberts; her great grandchild Kacen Brooks; and her close friends, Ann and Lisa Ogan.
