With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bessie Marie Rush of Tazewell, Tennessee, who passed away on June 20, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Littrell and Creola Littrell; her husband Charles "Sonny" Rush; her children, Angela "Angie" Rush, David Rush and Gary Rush; and her grandchildren, Chastity Rush, Nathan Beason and Jonathan Beason.
She is survived by: her children, Rosemary Day (Linvil) and Pat Beason (Mike); her grandchildren, Kim Rush (Georgia), Melody Cline, Adam Rush, Natalie Johnson, Karla Johnson, Michelle Leabow, Amber Caudill, Tiffany Taylor and Casie Beason Stone; and her great grandchildren, Joshua Rolen, Hannah Rolen, Caleb Cline, Addie Johnson, Jagger Johnson, Dom Widner, Eli Widner, Haley Widner, Shane Leabow, Elijah Beason, Emma Tolliver, Jancee Beason, Ethan Smith and Lily Stone.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel (937 N Broad St, New Tazewell, TN 37825). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
