Gillus Day Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 26, 2022, at the age of 94, Gillus Day (Tazewell, Tennessee) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gillus Day to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his wife Mary R. Day; his parents, Sillus Day and Nola Day; and his siblings, Shelby, James, Clay, Sillus Jr., Cas, Claude, Von Day, Lorene Roark and Ollie Mae Roark.

He is survived by : his son Dexter; his daughter-in-law Regina Day; his grandchildren, Jody Smith (Brian), Jeremiah Day (Mary) and Jacob Day (Mary); his great grandchildren, Eli, Brayden Day, Breanna and Brylee Smith; and his sister-in-law Mary A. Day.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Moody Cemetery Fund, care of Dexter Day or Commercial Bank.
