Larry J. Epperson Obituary
We announce the death of Larry J. Epperson of Tazewell, Tennessee, who passed away on November 4, 2026, at the age of 78. Larry will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Epperson and Lola Epperson; and his sister Jean Strange (Gene). He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Epperson; his children, Joel Epperson (Shannon Brooks) and Tonya Miller (Donny); his grandchildren, Mazdyn Elizabeth Miller, Maraya Taylor Miller and Holden Ramsey Miller; and his niece Pam Hill (Jimmy).
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Overholt Funeral Home Chapel (1106 TN-33, New Tazewell, TN 37825). A burial will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery (1106 Nell St, Tazewell, TN 37879).
