With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Naomi Roark of Tazewell, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 29, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Cosby and Rachael Cosby; and her siblings, Ancil, Joe, Rufus, Henderson, Addie, Elsie, Edith and Margaret.
She is survived by: her husband Glenn Roark; her daughter Pattie Cole (Mark); her granddaughter Carrie Reed (Brad); and her siblings, Roy Roark and Agnes Dunsmore.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Overholt Funeral Home Chapel (1106 TN-33, New Tazewell, TN 37825). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cave Springs Cemetery (1506 Cave Springs Rd, Tazewell, TN 37879).
