He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Barnett and Jean Barnett; and his son James Anthony Barnett. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Patty" Barnett; his siblings, Roger Barnett of Harrogate, TN and Geraldean Small of Tazewell, TN; his daughters, Jamie Amos (Gary) of Morristown, TN and Melissa Epperson of Harrogate, TN; and his stepchildren, Lee Ann Goins (Timothy) of Harrogate, TN and Joshua Knuckles (Letecia) of Corbin, KY.
