It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sally Mae Hunter of Tazewell, Tennessee, born in Speedwell, Tennessee, who passed away on February 25, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Jessie Hunter and Clara Gibson Hunter; and her siblings, Verlin Hunter, George Hunter, John Hunter, Jeff Hunter, Joe Hunter, Lucille Hunter, Maggie Russell, Beatrice Miller and Hester Massengill.

She is survived by : her children, Josey (Richard Neely), Zola Berniece (Curtis Mayes) and Allen Scott Hunter; and her grandchildren, Logan Hunter Neely and Peyton Thomas Neely. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
