He is survived by: his mother Josephine Ryals Cooper; his wife Sandra Deakins Cooper; his sons, James Cooper (Hannah) of Atlanta, GA and Greg Cooper (Alissa); his grandchildren, Titus, Kaelus and Kulele; his brother Jessie Cooper (Jody) of Jacksonville, FL; and his stepmother JoAnn Cooper. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home (418 W College St, Jonesborough, TN 37659).
