We announce the death of Leon W Byerley of Telford, Tennessee, who passed away on July 27, 2026, at the age of 90. Leon will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cadle Byerley and Beth Hunt Byerley; his wife Tracey Byerley; and his brothers, C. K. Byerley, Frank Byerley and Harvey Byerley.
He is survived by: his sister Jeanette Byerley Hill; his children, Brad (Elizabeth Byerley), Carlisle (Beth O'Meara), Michael (Carol Herren), Jason (Lisa Herren) and Heath (Alison Townsend); and his grandchild Morgan Byerley.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Kirkwood by the River, 3605 Ratliff Road, Birmingham, Alabama 35210 in honor of our father.
