He was predeceased by: his parents, Arbie Houston and Varnie Frizzell Houston; his brothers, James Houston (Hedy) and Jack Houston (Della); and his son Mike Houston.
He is survived by: his significant other Roberta Smith Houston; his daughters, Terri Houston Sams (Mark) and Kimberly Houston Green (Scott); his grandchildren, Katie Sams, McKenzie Green, Sarah Houston Bolz (Bret), Shelley Sams Hall (Josh), Emily Houston Lorino (Stephen) and Olivia Houston (Drew); his great grandchildren, Carter Hall and Baby Bolz; and his pet Daisy. He is also survived by many cousins, nephews and nieces.
