He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Witt and Etoile Witt; his former wife Margaret Harrell Witt; and his grandchildren, Mitchel Harris and Shaydeana Witt.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Witt; his children, Sylvia Harris Dalton, Billy Dean Witt (Rhonda), Kimberly McIntosh (late Wayne), Christy Mayr (Jay), Lauren Turton, Jennifer Palmer (Brandon) and Bill Turton (Summer); and his sister Betty Jean Ledford (late Buddy). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren.
