We announce the death of Gregory Scott Colvin of Tellico Plains, Tennessee, who passed away on September 21, 2026, at the age of 69. He was predeceased by: his brother Jerry Colvin; his parents, Beecher Colvin and Beulah Giles; his stepfather Glen Giles; and his granddaughter Madison Olivia Teague.
He is survived by: his wife Debra Colvin; his children, Lacey (Jesse Teague), Lindsey (Cody Yates) and Josh Colvin (Leslie Ellison); his grandchildren, Malaki, Noah, Megan, Jasper and Memphis; his sister Patrisha; his brother-in-law Dale Keller; and his stepmother Carolyn Colvin.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Myers Funeral Home (315 Scott St, Tellico Plains, TN 37385). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Miller's Chapel Cemetery.
