She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Homer Gandy and Verna Mae Townsend Gandy; and her former husband James Fredrick Hansel. She is survived by: her children, Becky Graves, Teresa (Steve Wilkins), Denise Kilby and Jeff Hansel; her grandchildren, Andrew Graves, Amanda Graves, Chris Hooper, Daniel Hooper of Jessica Kilby, D. J, Kevin Brummitt and Chance Brummitt; her great grandchildren, Violet Hooper, James Hooper, Axel Brummitt, Zoe Brummitt, Chloe Brummitt and Mason Brummitt; her brother Bob (Judy Gandy); and her brother-in-law Ralph Hansel.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Biereley-Hale Funeral Home (4650 US-411, Madisonville, TN 37354-1565). A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 9th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
