He is survived by: his wife Doris Gray Yates; his children, Sharon Stone (Jeff) and Shawn Yates (Candace); his grandchildren, Ean Tate, Avery, Tatum, Grady and Owen Yates; and his siblings, Louise Harris of Tellico Plains and Bob Yates (Liz) of Loudon.
