He is survived by: his daughter Kendra Buckna (Brian) of Tellico Plains; his grandson John Buckna III of Tellico Plains; his sister-in-law Patricia Burger of Tellico Plains; his nephew Lamarr Burger of Dalton, GA; his nieces, Kellie Queen and Lana Queen of Dalton, GA; his great-nieces, Jada Fox and Casey Queen of Dalton, GA; and his great-nephew Kyle Queen of Dalton, GA.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Companion Funeral & Cremation Service (400 S White St, Athens, TN 37303). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Companion Funeral Home of Athens (400 S White St, Athens, TN 37303). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the New Providence Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery (451 New Providence Rd, Tellico Plains, TN 37385).
