He was predeceased by: his parents, Jewell Francis Witt and Regis F. Witt. He is survived by: his children, William David Witt, Jr. (Freda) and Missy Smith; his sister Dr. Mary Will (Fritz); and his grandsons, Josh Hood and Brandon O'Neil. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
