He is survived by: his wife Mary Leffew of Ten Mile; his children, Pam Ellison (Tony) of Ten Mile, Sherry Patterson (Brad) of Ten Mile, John Leffew of Ten Mile and Renee Phillips (Jon) of Ten Mile; his brother Rev. Jerry; his sister-in-law Sue Leffew of Ten Mile; his sisters, Margaret McElhaney (Johnny) of Sweetwater, Carolyn Renfro (Mike) of Kingston and Faye Renfro (Charlie) of Ten Mile; his grandchildren, Anthony Ellison, Jacob Phillips (Christian), Chelsea Waller (Bryan), Austin Ellison, Hayley Patterson, Brandon Patterson (Amber), Emily Patterson (James Gailor), Conner Adkins (Ashlee) and Alyssa Leffew; and his great grandchildren, Isaiah, Audrey, Grayson, Presley, Everlee, Silas and Bailey. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and many friends.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
