Garrett left this world on December 6, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry and Maggie Evelyn Wofford Russell; his wife Virginia L. Russell; and his sons, Davin Lynn Russell and Mike Willis Russell.
He is survived by: his daughter Callie; his son-in-law Kevin Campbell; his brother Harley Russell of Cuba, MI; his grandchildren, Mika Lane (Justin), Monica Newman (Jimmy) and Matthew Campbell (Makaylee); his great grandchildren, Alexia Lane, Michael Lane, William Newman, Scarlett Newman and Collins Campbell; and his sibling's children, Steven Russell, Chuck Russell and Inga Pewitt.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Wofford Cemetery (700 Walnut Grove Rd, Dover, TN 37058).
