He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Helen Drake Dodd; and his stepmother Nancy Evelyn Frazier Dodd. He is survived by: his father Samuel "Sam" Allen Dodd; his brother Kerry Dodd (Martha); his stepsister Tracy Payne (Gregg); and his nieces, Jenna Dodd Weber (Brody) and Grace Payne.
