He was predeceased by : his parents, Wiley Hayes and Harriet Hayes; his siblings, Ruby Hayes, Sally Hayes, Vaughn "Buster" Hayes, Fred Hayes and Don Hayes; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Farmer, Deulah Hayes and Ruth Hayes.
He is survived by : his wife Joan Hayes; his daughters, Tammy Hayes and Jill Henry (George); his granddaughters, Kasey Hawkins, Keely Hawkins and Jade Henry; and his sister Edna Farmer. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
