She was predeceased by : her parents, Everett Spencer and Janie Spencer; and her siblings, Robert, Jerry Spencer, Marie Brazier, Linda Franks and Margaret Kiddy.

She is survived by : her husband James Deason, Sr.; her sons, James Deason II, Gary Deason (Christie) and Anthony John Deason; her sisters, Jan Dowling and Nelda Franks; her grandchildren, Katie, Emily, Aiden, Aaron and Brandon; and her great grandchild Brooklyn.
