He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm Hooper and Margaret Ballard Hooper; his brother Gerald Hooper; his grandson Jonathan Watkins; his nephew Justin Pickard; and his niece Debbie Turner.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Hooper of Toone; his sons, Larry "Bubba" Hooper (Rita) of Jackson, Timmy Hooper (Diane) of Jackson, Scott Hooper (Jackie) of Michigan and Jonathan Hooper (Daryl) of Pittsburgh, PA; his stepchildren, Annette Simer (Ronnie) of Toone, Tammy Rimer (Brian) of Toone and Ashley Hooper of Jackson; his close friend Millie; and his siblings, Tony Hooper of Toone, Donnie Hooper of Toone, Linda Clem of Texarakana, TX, Charlotte Hooper of Toone, Sandy Hooper of Toone and Connie Pickard (David) of Toone. He is also survived by his family, which includes 11 grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren.
