She was predeceased by: her parents, Arcie Brown and Lois Hawthorne Grantham; her husband Earnest Troy "Hot" Thornton; her stepfather Clarence Grantham; her son-in-law Sammy Parker; and her siblings, Margaret Moore and Kenneth Grantham.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dottie Parker of Toone and Trish Hughes (David) of Brentwood, TN; her siblings, Marie McDonald of Middleton, Robert Grantham (Carol) of Toone and Ray Grantham (Betty) of Bolivar; her half-sister Jettie Ruth Roberts of Birmingham, AL; her grandchildren, Christie Parker, Candy Sowder (Jamie), Sam Hughes (Abi), Andrew Hughes (Alexis) and Matthew Hughes (Jessie); and her great grandchildren, Caleb, Jake Sowder and Noah Hughes.
Memorial contributions in her name may be sent to Cloverport Baptist Church Cemetery.
