He was predeceased by: his father Benny Lynn Hampton; and his grandparents, James Berdon Hampton, Nannie Mae Landers Hampton, Pitser Miller Roberts and Ruth Virginia Lambert Roberts.
He is survived by: his mother Frances Roberts Hampton; his siblings, Barbara Hampton Davis (Randy) and Thomas Gene Hampton; his niece Jessica Davis Bryan (David); his nephew Daniel Alan Davis (Catherine); his great-nephews, Raylan Alan Davis and Joseph Michael Bryan; and his great-niece Annabelle Cate Davis.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Shackelford Funeral Directors (9 Mecklinburg Dr, Bolivar, TN 38008). A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Rainey Cemetery (2995 Naylor Rd, Toone, TN 38381).
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to Toone Baptist Church or Rainey Cemetery.
