As we bid Laverne farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Laverne is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clark Farmer and Lou Ella Farmer. She is survived by: her caregiver Karen Sands; and her close friends, Jay, Sandy Crippen, Steve Linginfelter (Brenda), David Wilson, Larry Teaster and Ronnie Suttles.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Bethel Baptist Church, Townsend TN and the 4-H foundation.
