She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Coada and Flora Coada; her husband James Patty; her daughter Kate; her brothers, Bill and Bob Myers Coda; and her grandson Jay.
She is survived by: her siblings, Kermit, Betty and Bessie; her son Thomas; her grandchildren, Sybil Nicole (Allen), Alex Leah (Nikita) and Emmylou; and her great grandchildren, Alan Hannah, Alanna Lewis, Jaz Mize Rayon and Megan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home Chapel (1102 Big Springs Rd, Maryville, TN 37801). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery (132 Bethel Church Rd, Townsend, TN 37882).
