He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Shrum and Sarah Shrum (Sweeton); his daughter Lori Ann Shrum; and his siblings, Freddie Lee Shrum, Ruth Sanders, Donnie Higgins and Mavis Dove.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Shrum; his daughter Andrea Allen (John); his grandchildren, Evan, Hannah Ashby, Trint Partin (Elizabeth), Haiden, Braydin and Chloe Partin; and his siblings, Marvin Shrum (Faye) of Tracy City, David Shrum (Sheila) of Sequatchie, TN and Sadie Bracefield (Dave) of Ft. Mohave, AZ. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cumberland Funeral Home, Inc. (96 Clair St, Tracy City, TN 37387). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
