He is survived by: his children, Howard Wayne Patterson, Steve Patterson (Ann), Sherry Patterson, Rita Guess, Julie McFalls and Franny Owens. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
